These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with iVisited and supersede all others. Placing an order, or receipt of an order acknowledgement, constitutes your acceptance of these conditions notwithstanding any purported terms put forward by you.
iVisited is a trading name of Chunky Chairs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER — to be confirmed]), whose registered office is at Unit 6, Stable Yard, Park Farm, Stoke Albany, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England, LE16 8PT ("iVisited", "we", "us" or "the Company"). Chunky Chairs Ltd is registered for VAT (VAT number [VAT NUMBER — to be confirmed]).
iVisited sells destination and nautical-inspired map art. This includes giclée fine-art prints of coastlines, islands, lakes, national parks, ski resorts and race circuits, and custom 3D wooden relief maps. Prints are made to order: after you buy, we refine the final artwork with you and send it for your approval before it goes to print and is dispatched. 3D wooden relief maps and certain non-standard prints are supplied by commission or enquiry, and are quoted individually before any order is confirmed.
We reserve the right to alter the details of products advertised without notice. While every effort is made to describe our products accurately, no warranty is given as to complete accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for minor error and any resulting loss.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. The price displayed is the price you pay; the VAT element is recorded in your order details rather than added on top. For commissioned pieces (including 3D wooden relief maps and non-standard prints), the price will be confirmed to you in writing before your order is accepted.
Prices for standard products are those shown at the time of order. For quoted or commissioned work, estimates are based on our current costs and, unless otherwise agreed, may be amended before order acceptance where an amendment is required to reflect a rise or fall in those costs.
Our prints are personalised, made-to-order items. Once you have placed your order, we will prepare the final artwork and send it to you for approval before printing. It is your responsibility to check the artwork thoroughly — including location, place names, spelling, dates, wording, framing crop, size and orientation.
Once you approve the artwork, it is deemed correct and ready to go to print, and responsibility passes to you. We shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected by you before approval. If you ask us to make changes after you have approved the artwork, or after printing has begun, additional charges may apply.
If we notice something that appears to be an error in the details you have supplied, we will let you know, but we are not obliged to check the accuracy of information you provide. Where you leave styling or layout to our discretion, any subsequent changes you request may be subject to additional charges.
All reasonable efforts are made to achieve the best possible colour reproduction, but some variation is inherent in the giclée print process and in natural materials such as wood. The finished colour and texture are affected by the paper or material chosen. We do not guarantee an exact match between the colours shown on your screen and the finished piece, as screens vary significantly in how they display colour. Such variation is considered reasonable and we do not accept liability for it.
For 3D wooden relief maps, natural variation in grain, tone and finish is a characteristic of the material and is not a defect.
Our map art is derived in part from open geographic data. Where our designs use OpenStreetMap data, that map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is made available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Other pieces may draw on further open data sources, which are acknowledged where applicable. The artistic styling, composition, colouring and presentation of each piece remain the intellectual property of iVisited.
When you buy a finished print or map, you are purchasing the physical artwork for your own personal, non-commercial use. This does not transfer ownership of our designs or any underlying data, and does not grant you the right to reproduce, resell or commercially exploit the artwork without our written permission.
Where you ask us to incorporate names, text, photographs or other material you supply, you confirm that you are entitled to use it. You agree to indemnify and hold iVisited harmless against all claims, demands, actions, costs, expenses (including legal costs), losses and damages arising from any claim that the reproduction of material you supplied infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
We may use images of artwork we produce to promote iVisited. All design, text, illustrations, graphics and other content on any website owned or operated by iVisited are the intellectual property of Chunky Chairs Ltd or its content providers. No reproduction of any part is permitted without written permission.
Prints are dispatched by Royal Mail. Postage and packaging is charged inclusive of VAT and is based on the largest print in your order; you choose First Class or Second Class delivery at checkout. 3D wooden relief maps and other commissioned pieces are delivered by a carrier appropriate to the item, and delivery arrangements and costs are confirmed as part of your commission.
Because prints are made to order, dispatch times begin once you have approved the final artwork. Any turnaround times we quote are estimates and are measured in working days (days on which the clearing banks in the City of London are open for normal business). We are not liable for any loss arising from delays in transit that are not caused by us.
Where we are unable to complete delivery because you have provided incomplete or incorrect delivery information, or are not available to accept delivery, any resulting delay or additional cost is your responsibility, provided we have used reasonable endeavours to deliver.
Risk of loss of or damage to the finished work passes to you on delivery. Ownership of and title to the work is retained by iVisited until we have received payment in full.
Please inspect your order on arrival. Advice of damage or partial loss of goods in transit must be given to us in writing within three working days of delivery, and advice of non-delivery within 28 days of dispatch. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We shall not be liable in respect of such a claim unless these requirements have been complied with, except where you can show that (i) it was not possible to comply and (ii) the claim was made as soon as reasonably possible.
Except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions, and subject to your statutory rights as a consumer, all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. iVisited shall not be liable for any loss arising from delay in transit not caused by us.
iVisited shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, economic loss, loss of goodwill or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability in respect of any order shall be limited to the sums paid to us by you for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability which cannot be limited or excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any of your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our prints and 3D wooden relief maps are personalised, made-to-order items produced to your specification and approved artwork. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not generally apply to goods that are made to order or personalised. This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
You may cancel or amend your order without charge before you have approved the final artwork. Once you have approved the artwork and production has begun, we may not be able to cancel your order, and any costs already incurred for work carried out up to the date of your written cancellation will be charged for and deducted before any refund is made.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us and we will put it right — usually by reprinting or remaking the item, or by offering a refund where appropriate. Where we agree a refund, it will normally be processed within 3 to 4 working days to your original payment method. This clause does not limit or affect your statutory rights.
Any property or materials supplied to iVisited by you or on your behalf (for example photographs or reference images) shall, while in our possession or in transit to or from you, be deemed to be at your risk unless otherwise agreed, and you should insure such property accordingly.
We may decline to use any material you supply that we consider unsuitable for reproduction, and we shall have no liability where the finished work is of less than satisfactory quality as a result of defects in, or the unsuitability of, materials supplied by you.
Payment for standard products is taken in full at the time of order, before your artwork is prepared and your order processed. For commissioned work, payment terms will be confirmed to you in writing before the commission begins.
iVisited shall not be required to produce any work which in its opinion is or may be of an illegal, offensive or defamatory nature, or an infringement of the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
You shall indemnify and hold iVisited harmless against all claims, demands, costs, expenses (including legal costs), losses and damages arising from work we are asked to produce at your request being, or alleged to be, unlawful, infringing or defamatory.
We handle your personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and our privacy policy. We use your details to process and fulfil your order and to provide customer support. Where you have agreed to it, we may also contact you about products and services similar to those you have bought. You may opt out of marketing at any time by contacting us.
iVisited shall be under no liability if it is unable to perform any obligation owed to you for any reason beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) act of God, legislation, war, fire, flood, failure of power supply, strike or other industrial action, or any inability to procure materials required to fulfil the order. During the continuance of such an event, you may by written notice elect to terminate the contract and pay for work already done and materials used, but subject to that shall otherwise accept delivery when available.
These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time. The latest version may always be accessed via our website, and applies to orders placed after it is published.
These terms and conditions, and all other express terms of the contract with customers, are governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to any matter arising in connection with any contract into which these terms are incorporated. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Discount and voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, are subject to availability, and will expire on the date stated on the offer. E&OE.
