Llyn Celyn, nestled in the rolling hills of North Wales, is a reservoir with a striking landscape and a poignant history. Created in the 1960s to supply water to Liverpool, this vast body of water submerged the village of Capel Celyn, a poignant reminder of the area's past. Surrounded by the rugged beauty of Snowdonia National Park, Llyn Celyn offers dramatic views, tranquil walks, and a serene environment for reflection. Its serene waters contrast with its turbulent history, making it a place of both natural splendor and cultural significance in Wales.

Our Llyn Celyn, Wales, Colour Contour lake map turns real map data into lake & loch wall art — the shoreline and depth contours of the water of Llyn Celyn, Wales, Colour Contour, drawn and printed by us rather than a generic stylised map. It works equally as a Llyn Celyn, Wales, Colour Contour lake print, office art, or a memorable gift for swimmers, anglers and paddlers.
